I went to a pub and read the newspaper after work today. I read that yesterday marked the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in the British Empire. It was marked by a church service at Westminster Abbey attended by the Queen, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and other dignitaries. Someone disrupted the service to demand an apology ( Read more... )
